- Fall: 5 p.m. in IPO, Walker 120, Friday, Sept. 29, 2023
- Spring: 5 p.m., in IPO, Walker 120, Friday, Feb. 16, 2024 (freshmen and late applicants, subject to programs with openings)

Applications due Friday, February 16, 2024 in IPO (Walker Hall, Suite 120)
Portland Campus
- Send app in the US mail to Linfield University, Intl Programs Office, unit A472, 900 SE Baker St., McMinnville, OR 97128. Must be received by IPO no later than Feb. 16 or
- Turn in completed apps to Matt Hiller in Building 5, Office of Student Life, no later than noon on Friday, Feb 16.

Feb 20 IPO review of applications
Feb 21 Student Affairs review of applications
Feb 24 Faculty post-interview days/times on-line
Mar 1 - 3 Qualified applicants invited to sign-up for interviews
Mar 6 - 17 Faculty/student interviews
Mar 20 Decisions due from faculty (select, alternate, non-select)
Mar 27 Decision letters sent out. If their course is still open after spring break, faculty will have the opportunity to interview students who originally applied, but were not accepted to their first choice after spring break.
April 7 2nd round decisions due from professors, if applicable
Late April Accept, alternate, and non-select letters sent to 2nd round candidates
May 1 Withdrawal after this date will result in student's account being charged a $500 penalty along with any expenses Linfield has incurred on the student's behalf.
May 1 Faculty itineraries due
May 1 Passport copies due/final name list to travel agents; passports must be valid at least until August, 2025.

Attend the study abroad fair on Wednesday, Sept. 6th in Fred Meyer Lounge, Riley Hall, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Speak with program representatives, past participants, faculty, and international students – have your questions answered!
Sept 29 - Applications due in the IPO ( Walker Hall, Suite 120), (Freshmen apps due Friday, Feb. 16, 2024)
Oct 2 - 4 Review by Student Affairs
Oct 6 - 25 Qualified students invited for interviews
Nov. 1 - Decisions due to IPO by interview teams
Nov 2 - 10 Decision letters sent out to students' unit boxes.

Feb 6 - Passport copies due from accepted applicants from fall process.
Feb 16, 5pm Freshmen applications and all other late applications due in the International Programs Office, Walker 120 (subject to programs with openings)
Feb 19 - 21 Student Affairs Review
Feb 22 - Mar 1 Qualified students invited for interviews
Mar 4 - Decisions due to IPO
Mar 6 - 8 Letters out
Mar 15 - 16 Mandatory Orientation Weekend, Location Jonasson Hall
- (Friday 4-6 p.m.; Saturday 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.)
