Academics

Dates

  • Fall (mid September to late January) and Spring (late January to end of May) 
  • For Fall semester students, there is a 3-week winter break from mid-December to the first part of January. 

Additional Requirements and Recommendations 

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA is required.
  • It is highly recommended that students take TCCA 230 (Intercultural Communication: Global Perspectives). Courses in European history, literature, and politics (such as Europe Since 1500, Comparative Politics, Modern England, the English Literature Survey courses, and Irish Literature) also provide excellent preparation.

Housing

  • Linfield students live in University residence halls, within a 5 minutes walk of the academic buildings.  There are no meal plans; students pay as you go.  Transportation around the city is available through buses, trains, scooters and bikes.
