Welcome to the Office of Academic Affairs

The Office of Academic Affairs provides leadership for Linfield University's educational departments, to ensure the quality and integrity of Linfield’s academic programs. The office is responsible for academic strategic planning, faculty recruitment and development, course evaluation, academic budget planning and management, development and implementation of academic policies, and assessment of student achievement.

  • Linfield's NWCCU accreditation is managed by the provost’s office.
  • The Academic Council is chaired by the provost and considers educational issues that concern Linfield holistically.
  • The Dean’s List is computed following the posting of grades at the end of each semester.
  • The Faculty Lecture Series showcases the work of Linfield faculty members throughout the academic year.
  • Linfield’s Student Symposium is hosted by the Office of Academic Affairs each May.
  • Questions on any of these issues, academic policies, or any other aspects of the academic program can be referred to this office.
