Program

• University of Galway: Galway, Ireland
  • A university of approximately 18,000 students in the beautiful town of Galway, the third largest city in Ireland. 
  • Galway is a university city, with all amenities within walking distance of the campus. Enjoy music on the streets, sporting festivals and big music festivals in the Cultural Capital of Ireland.   
  • Join one of the 82 student societies, 50 sports clubs or volunteer!
  • The University of Galway is a great location for those who are interested in the Irish language. The campus is nearthe Gaeltacht centres in An Cheathrú Rua, Carna and Gaoth Dobhair. 

Academics

Additional Requirements and Recommendations

• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• It is highly recommended students take TCCA 230 (Intercultural Communication: Global Perspectives) before participating. Courses in European history, politics, culture, and thought (such as Irish Literature) also provide excellent preparation.
