Course placement information

This information will help you identify the appropriate subject level for you (just a few departments have advising recommendations or prerequisites for intro courses). Your faculty and peer advisors will also assist you with selecting appropriate course levels, especially when you arrive on campus and meet individually with them to go over your schedule,

The departments at Linfield that offer special advising information and/or placement testing for students considering taking their courses are:

Writing Courses
Mathematics
Global Languages (Chinese, French, Japanese, and Spanish)
Economics

Once appropriate courses are determined for these departments, students should register for them in Self Service as with all other courses.
