Campaign and Election Information

The Associated Students of Linfield Univeristy – Portland Campus (ASLU-PC) will be holding elections for the offices of the President and Vice-President in March. Elected students will serve their fellow students during the following academic year.

All current students who will be enrolled through the Spring 2024 semester are eligible to run for the offices of President and Vice-President. Interested candidates must submit their name to the ASLU-PC Secretary by a date in March (specified via email to the Portland campus student body by the ASLU-PC secretary) prior to the start of campaigning. Once a candidate's eligibility is verified, they will receive campaign rules and be added to the official ballot list. Duties of the President and Vice-President are on page 4 of the ASLU-PC Bylaws.

  • Beginning Spring 2023: Eligible candidates may submit their name to the Secretary
  • March: Nominations Due to the Secretary
  • March-April: Campaigning
  • April: Election (via e-balloting)
  • May: Leadership transition begins

Officer Hiring Information

2023-2024 officer positions will be open for application following the election. All current students who will be enrolled through the Fall 2024 semester are eligible to apply for Executive Cabinet and Program Board positions. Senate Board candidates must be members of their respective cohorts. Available positions will be announced via email to the Portland campus student body.

  • Sustainability Director
