Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship

About 300 awards (up to $7500/year) to undergraduate science or mathematics students for their last year or two of undergraduate study. Students must be planning a career in science, engineering, or mathematics. Awards in two categories: two-year scholarships to those who will be juniors and one-year scholarships to those who will be seniors in the upcoming academic year. Must be US citizen, resident alien, or US national.

Student DEADLINE to be considered a Linfield nominee: January 20, 2023.

Harry S. Truman Scholarship

60 scholarships for up to $30,000 to full-time junior-level college students who plan graduate study to prepare for a career in government or another area of public service.  Scholars are eligible for additional assistance toward graduation. US citizen, national, or legal permanent resident. 

Student DEADLINE to be considered a Linfield nominee: January 26, 2023.

DEADLINE: February 7, 2023.

Morris K. Udall and Stuart L. Udall Scholarship

Provides approximately 55 awards of up to $7000 for tuition, fees, room and board. Applicants must be either:

  1. College sophomores or juniors with outstanding potential studying the environment and related fields, or
  2. Current sophomores or juniors who are Native American or Alaska Native with outstanding potential and studying fields related to health care or tribal policy. Must be US citizen, resident alien or US national.

Student DEADLINE to be considered a Linfield nominee: February 23, 2023

DEADLINE: March 2, 2023.
