Trystan Reese, a nationally recognized LGBTQIA+ author and educator, will host three workshops to help us build understanding, see the barriers faced by this community and build concrete skills around allyship and inclusive language.

Linfield is dedicated to inclusion, understanding and care for LGBTQIA+ folks both on campus and within the larger community. We are able to host Trystan through the generosity of the Lacroute Initiative for Advancing the Liberal Arts. This partnership is one of the ways Linfield is addressing needs indicated in our HEDS climate survey data.

All trainings will be recorded and circulated via Linfield Ahead, and will remain available for three years. Training workshops are sponsored by the Lacroute Initiative and Queer Connect, a broad coalition of Linfield students, faculty, staff and administrators.
