There are numerous different projects, programs and products available, it can be hard to keep up on the latest processes and techniques. More and more classes are switching to a Blended Learning environment, making keeping up with these techniques increasingly important. This section hosts five webpages that help you do just that:

Instructional Support and Design has information and how-to's on sites like BBLearn, edublogs, and different wiki sites. It goes over tools available for classroom use, including personal response systems, aka "clickers", and Linfield's video hosting server, Kaltura. It also goes over design tips for your course sites, and give tips and examples of well made and accessible pages.

Working with Audio covers various audio editing and recording software, including Adobe Audition, Audacity, and GarageBand. There is a description of each program, and a link to their respective download pages. This page also has tips for recording great sounding audio, and gives examples of well recorded segments.

Working with Video goes over programs for both recording and editing videos. It covers applications, such as, Movie Maker, iMovie, Adobe Preimere, Screencast-o-matic, and Final Cut Pro. Each app has a brief description and a link to its download page. There are examples of well shot and edited pieces, and tips on how best to record your video.

Working with Images looks at programs like Adobe Photoshop, Gimp, and Pixlr. All programs have a description and a link to their download page. There are also tips on techniques to take different types of stills, and before & after examples of edited photos.
