The Office of Student Care and Support supports students through challenges in their Linfield career by problem-solving, connecting students to on- and off-campus resources, and fostering self-advocacy and resilience to overcome future barriers. Common areas of concern we support students through are mental health, academic challenges, social or interpersonal conflict, and balancing life commitments both on- and off-campus.

Lainie, the Director of Student Care & Support, is an advocate for all Linfield students. She is committed to hearing each student's story, dreams, and challenges. Lainie seeks to support each student in connecting with campus resources and finding the best path to their goals. Stop by Lainie's office to say hi, ask questions, or take a quick rest with a cup of tea. If she cannot answer your specific question, she can direct you to the person who can!
