Dean's List
The Dean’s List identifies undergraduate students who have earned a term GPA at least equivalent to a cum laude (at least 3.650 GPA) for a given semester. It is computed following the posting of grades at the end of each semester. To be eligible an undergraduate student must have earned at least 12 credits in courses with differentiated grades (A-F) and have received no incomplete (I) or in progress (IP) designations.
All students who qualify for the Dean’s List will have it noted on their Official Transcript and be sent a letter of congratulations. The published Dean’s List and any other public congratulations will only include those students who have qualified for the Dean’s List when grades are first posted at the end of each semester and who have not requested that Linfield withhold their Directory Information. Students will be notified after grades are posted each semester. Students whose qualifying grades are submitted after the first posting of grades for a semester (for example: Study Abroad Grades, I or IP grades, and any other Grade Changes) will be notified as soon as possible after the qualifying grade(s) are submitted.
