Activities Council

The ASLU Activities Council is a committee formed by the ASLU Student Center Director, Vice President of Programming, Vice President of Finance, three ASLU Senators, and the ASLU Advisor. The charge of the ASLU Activities Council is to:

  1. Evaluate funding requests from ASLU-recognized clubs (“Clubs”) or non-ASLU-recognized student organizations (“other student organizations”).
  2. Distribute funding for campus events and programs that uphold the mission of ASLU to improve 24/7 Linfield student life.
  3. Prioritize the funding of Club events and programs over other student organization and Linfield department events.

ASLU-recognized Clubs and other student organizations can request funding from the Activities Council for their events or programs. The Activities Council meets weekly to process and evaluate these requests.
