MFA

Multi-factor Authentication (MFA)

Linfield University is moving towards supporting modern security for logging into our network with multi-factor authentication (MFA).  This is being added as another layer of security for you and the University.

Here are three resources to help you navigate MFA.

Set up multi-factor authentication with a mobile device
Managing your verification settings
Signing into your Microsoft Account

The Information Technology Services department is turning on MFA for all students, faulty, staff and retirees.  You will need your Linfield email address, a phone number, or an authenticator app to complete the process.

Please be prepared to spend 10 minutes to set up MFA using your personal computer, not the device you will be using as a authentication device.
