BNMG-498  North American/European Industries: Management/Career Exploration--Compare/Contrast (Germany vs Italy)

Through first-hand examination of these industries: automotive, footwear/outerwear, and wine, students will gain an appreciation and understanding of the skills, concepts and theories required for success in these industries. The students will also develop knowledge of the process and effect of internationalization and globalization in business. Experiences will include site visits, tours, orientations, and interactions with international firms. Students will be challenged to integrate knowledge they have gained from other courses and apply their accumulated knowledge. Students will engage in active research and analytical problem solving related to working in the international environment. Project work and deliverables will be team-based.

Prerequisite: Fall semester prior to JT '22 departure, students will be required to enroll and participate in the IDST 098 Orientation to International Study (1 credit).

Fees: $5000 (this course pending approval)
