Inside Linfield - Facilities Services

COVID-19 UPDATE: Facilities & Auxiliary Services

Facilities & Auxiliary Services is focused on maintaining a safe and healthy environment for the Linfield Community as we continue to navigate the changing landscape during the COVID-19 pandemic.

On 3/23/2020, Oregon Governor Kate Brown issued a new executive order (No. 20-12) - Stay Home, Save Lives. In accordance with this order and the latest guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Oregon's Higher Education Coordinating Commission, Linfield will be limiting on-campus operations to mission-critical functions. Facilities & Auxiliary Services will continue to provide mission-critical functions to maintain Linfield University properties and provide services to other mission-critical areas.

Facility Services

Work Orders will continue to be processed and completed for mission-critical needs. Please submit all work orders via the online work order system.

Cleaning Services has been working around the clock to clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces throughout all campus buildings. In an effort to make the most efficient use of Cleaning Services personnel resources, our teams began to post green hang tags inside academic buildings on classroom and office door handles to indicate that that room has been cleaned & disinfected by Cleaning Services.

  • After cleaning & disinfecting a classroom space, Cleaning Services will lock the door when they leave and post the sign on the outside of the door handle.
  • If you need to enter the room, please remove the sign to signal our team to clean & disinfect again.

Cleaning Services will continue to clean & disinfect frequently touched surfaces throughout the buildings, this will help focus the team’s efforts to make the most efficient use of personnel resources.
