Eligibility to apply for grants

A Principal Investigator/Project Director on a grant received by Linfield must serve in one of the following roles at the university:

• Tenure-track and tenured faculty members
• New tenure-track faculty who have signed their contracts but have not yet undertaken their contractual responsibilities
• Other faculty whose term of appointment extends beyond the notification date and end date for the grant term 
• Professors emeritus
• Administrators and LEA employees

All the above university staff must have the approval of their supervisors in order to serve as a Principal Investigator/Project Director. Furthermore, all applicants must meet eligibility requirements and submission limits of the specific opportunity and/or sponsor.
