Blackboard example courses

The purpose of this page is to provide you with examples of ways you can organize your courses, and what you can do with a Blackboard course.  Some have extensive video use, some have tapped into Google Drive to help with the management of the course, and all are organized differently.
The courses below are example that have been built in Blackboard by Linfield faculty, staff, and even students.

To access the courses:

  • Login to Blackboard
  • Click on an enroll link below to the course self regitration, and follow the instructions
  • Access the courses you are enrolled in from your My Linfield Blackboard Page, or the course title links below

You will be enrolled as a student, able to view the course as a student would.  If you would like to see everything from an instructor perspective please contact blackboard@linfield.edu.

Faculty and staff courses

These are actual courses provided courtesy of the professors who created them.  They have been shared without student information or content.  Next to the course name you will find some of the distinguishing features of the course.

Student courses

The student courses were developed by student assistants in the Faculty Development Lab to be examples of how they like to see courses organized.  These are "barebones" courses but still give a good idea.  They have been shared without student information or content.  Next to the course name, you will find some of the distinguishing features of the course.
