Tools to stay on track

Familiarize yourself with Nursing prerequisites to plan accordingly.

Keep track of your GPA! Pre-Nursing students are required to track their GPA (GPA requirements must be met at the time of application to enter the Nursing program)

Take advantage of one-on-one advising and group advising sessions.

  • Meet with your assigned faculty advisor at least once a semester.
  • First-year students are invited to attend a Pre-Nursing Information Session during welcome week and Pre-Registration Group Advising Sessions offered during the registration period.
  • Sophomores can attend a School of Nursing Application Information Session.
  • Departmental & Individual Tutoring: If you need tutoring services or are in need of some time management tips and tricks, contact Learning Support Services (503) 883-2562.
